So Prometric cancelled my test, as they have closed. Something about “inclement weather”? “White-out conditions”? “Superstorm Snowpocalypse: The Midwest“?
I just… really? After my final day of equations-and-oncogenes-I-will-soon-forget cramming?
They did say that someone would contact me by Monday to help me reschedule. So, hey, that’s good. I have no plans. Well, I did, but the storm would’ve cancelled my post-USMLE celebration anyway. Maybe I will get to take Step 1 next week?
Call me, Prometric.
Oh No! A living nightmare. I have my test booked on the 15th March, am working full time and I have an 11 month old daughter. I cannot tell you how much I’m looking forward to 5pm on that day.
Hang in there, take a day off, and it’ll all turn out okay in the end.
Oh man, an 11 month old daughter AND working full time? You are a saint and a genius! Best of luck with your test! I took yesterday off and it was pretty nice, actually. Looks like I’ll survive!
That’s awful! As an M1 I can only imagine… This was shared by a classmate before a particularly scary biochem exam. I feel like it applies to you:
The good being you get to be a doctor!
AWESOME.
I know it’s hard, but try to remain calm. If it ends up being next week, just spend your time going over your step 1 book again, and doing some practice questions. You won’t forget anything important. It will be fine, I promise.
After sleeping on it, I think you’re right. It’s not like it’ll kill me to actually spend a day dedicated to antifungal/antiviral pharm (something I’ve been guessing at lately due to “lack of time”) or do another Goljan runthrough.
This is the right web site for everyone who really
wants to find out about this topic. You understand so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I personally
will need to…HaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a topic which has been discussed for years.
Wonderful stuff, just excellent!
